St Mary's Church, in the Historic District of Annapolis was built on the property of Revolutionary patriot Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence . The church was concencrated in 1860. Annapolis is known as the "Sailing Capital of the World."
