Annapolis, Maryland-- a boater amkes his way from the water on Spa Creek behind St. Mary's Catholic Church. St Mary's Church, in the Historic District of Annapolis was built on the property of Revolutionary patriot Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence . The church was concencrated in 1860. Annapolis is known as the "Sailing Capital of the World."
